The New Dawn, 400 x 400 mm Mixed Media on Canvas is exhibiting at Kuemu Art Centre as pasrt of the Matariki Members Show in The Pod Gallery until the 19th July. This piece has been in progress for several years now. It’s a bit different to my other works on board with a more lyrical fluid use of marks and media. I felt like I needed it to be with me for sometime until it was ready. I decided to add more marks with lines and then it felt completed. I plan to bring back this more fluid style into my new work soon.
